Position Description
Energy Broker performs sales in targeted markets by initiating and following up on sales leads to sell energy products to new and existing customers. Energy Broker will operate as an independent contractor of USEC, in doing so energy broker can use the company name, brand, marketing material and USEC licensing in the states that require them.

Position Responsibilities
  • Prepare, review and monitor various documents such as cost and savings analysis, offer sheets and contracts.
  • Accurately and efficiently document sales process in the USEC energy portal.
  • Determine customer needs, prepare and present proposals, recommend best product solution based on customer needs.
  • Maintain competency and product knowledge to close sales and achieve individual performance targets.
  • Have the ability to overcome objections by positioning product benefits, features and value proposition.
  • Attend sales seminars, sales meetings or educational activities to stay up-to-date on the latest developments, trends and regulations in the market place.

Education/Experience
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university or 2 years of experience in a deregulated  energy sales role.

Computer Skills
  • MS Office - Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, Power Point
  • Preferred general knowledge of an online CRM/Portal
