Customer Process
Identify and Review Current Supply Scenario
•Every Company has a unique set of needs, USEC will provide an OPPORTUNITY REVIEW in which we identify your current supply scenario. Your energy consultant will conduct an interview to find out about your company & its facilities, and discover the challenges you face on a daily basis as well as your budget and its constraints.
Historical Usage
•USEC will request your historical usage data from the utility. We want to understand the energy profile of your business facilities. This gives us the ability to know what your load factor is and how it affects the bottom line.
•Your energy consultant will analyze this data extensively to determine which product best fits the needs of your business.
Bid Request
•After evaluation of the data and determination of which product would work best for our predetermined budget and load constraints, USEC will approach the suppliers that will meet the specified criteria on your behalf.
•Our price desk will initiate a competitive request for proposal (RFP) to our national network of pre-qualified electricity suppliers. It typically takes 1 to 5 business days to receive pricing back.
Supplier Selection
•Once all offers have been received from the suppliers, USEC will review the pricing options and choose top 3 suppliers that match your business needs. Your energy consultant will generate a cost and savings analysis that will reflect the current cost and projected savings from the top 3 suppliers.
Agreement Review and Negotiations
•USEC sends business opportunities to our partner suppliers on a daily basis. This creates leverage that can be used to negotiate favorable contract terms for our customers. On top of that, the competition amongst different suppliers ensures the customer receives the most competitive electricity rates available. Even if you company faces budget or credit restraints, we can help you find a solution.
Contract Execution
•You will make the final decision, once you are comfortable with the supplier, product, price and term a contract will be drafted and sent to you for signature. Due to the volatility of the energy market that price and contract will be good for that day only. If for some unexpected turn of events the contract was not executed that day a price refresh will be generated the following day and presented to you with the new contract.
•Once you execute the contract USEC will submit it to the supplier so that it can be booked.
